Who we are

Care and housing for older people is our business. But it’s also our passion.

Find your perfect property

Through Anchor Hanover’s housing for older people and Anchor care homes, we care about people’s individual needs and their everyday lives. Operating in 85% of local councils in England, with 54,000 homes for older people as well as dedicated teams of business professionals working in our Bradford and London offices, more than 9,000 of us work towards the same goal.

Our heart-felt ambition is to transform housing and care so everyone can have a home where they love living in later life.

We’re not-for-profit which means that every penny we make or save is invested in the people who live with us and the people who work here. That means a better standard of care and customer service, better wages, more investment in training and development and better facilities.

Anchor Hanover is all about communities

Communities of older people who have the opportunity to live their lives in the way they want. And a community of highly committed and talented people who create welcoming, supportive environments where residents can thrive.

As a business, we’re Anchor Hanover. As an individual, you’re…

Accountable

Take responsibility for the great job you do.

Respectful

Show kindness, listen to and include everyone.

Courageous

Shape a better future through innovation and collaboration.

Honest

Demonstrate transparency in everything you say and do.
