Everyone at Anchor Hanover has regular personal development meetings with their manager. These are great opportunities to keep track of what you’re doing well, where you need to develop and what your next steps are.
Our highly-skilled Organisational Development team deliver courses in everything you’ll need to succeed in your role and we are an endorsed provider with Skills for Care. This means that Skills for Care have recognised us as one of the best learning and development providers within the adult social care sector.
The Anchor Hanover MyLearning website gives you access to hundreds of online modules anytime and on any device. And best of all, you’ll be surrounded by talented and friendly colleagues who’ll support you and help you to learn.
With over 300 learners up and down the country, we have three distinct apprenticeship offerings:
- Apprenticeship Programme: Over 12-18 months, you will receive some of the most comprehensive training in care or customer service and best of all you’ll receive a nationally recognised qualification.
- MyRole Apprenticeships: As an existing colleague, you can register for an apprenticeship qualification relating to your role as part of your ongoing training and development.
- MyFuture Apprenticeships: Nominated by your Manager, you’ve been identified as Top Talent and this apprenticeship supports you on your way to the next role.
My First Year
My First Year is our engaging method for inducting colleagues into Anchor Hanover. It provides access to the whole range of learning and development activities that a new colleague would be required to complete within their first year with us. When accessing My First Year, the colleague can see, and quickly access, what is required during their first week with us right up to the end of their first year. It provides our colleagues with links to relevant documents and policies, takes them directly to any eLearning modules they need to complete and gives them access to book their own places on any required webinars or face to face workshops.
All our managers are responsible for engaging, motivating and leading their teams. A big part of that is making sure their people get the learning, coaching and development they need.
