Each year we publish our Annual Report and Financial Statements to show what we have achieved and how we have improved the range of services we offer older people across England.
Since March 2020, the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic have impacted all our lives. Our sympathies continue to be with residents, their relatives and our colleagues who have been affected or lost loved ones as a result of the virus.
The strong progress made in the preceding months, built on more than 50 years of experience, means Anchor Hanover had a strong foundation from which to weather the storm. Alongside the high level of Care Quality Commission ratings across our care services, we were pleased that the Regulator of Social Housing confirmed in April 2020 the highest possible rating for both viability and governance.
Our ageing society and the changing needs of our residents remain the most powerful drivers of long term change. We remain committed to our ambition to transform housing and care so people can have a home where they love living in later life.
