I’m extremely proud of the welcoming environment our dedicated staff team create as well as the high standard of care provided in our home. I’m honoured to be part of Beechfield Lodge Community.
Choosing a care home can sometimes be a difficult decision, we are here to help new residents and their families feel confident. Asking questions is important to helping you feel confident in your decision and we are here to provide all the support you need.
A safe welcome
We only welcome new residents where it is completely safe to do so. Our home has whole-home testing, is well equipped and has a good stock of high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE).
We ensure a sterile environment with regular deep-cleaning and are committed to protecting everyone living and working in our home through robust infection control measures.
Staying in touch
We maintain regular contact with families and do everything we can to ensure residents have regular contact with those closest to them. We also offer virtual show rounds to those considering our home.
To start your enquiry, click 'Make Enquiry' and call us or complete an enquiry form. We’ll take your details and you’ll be able to speak to a senior member of our care team and request a brochure.
While we cannot currently invite you in for a visit, a member of our team can offer you a virtual show round, a video call or a FaceTime appointment, where you can speak to them one-on-one see the home and any rooms that are available.
If you wish to take your enquiry further, an assessment will take place to make sure we can meet you or your loved one’s care needs. This will be arranged in a safe way by the senior care management team at our home and may be conducted virtually or at a safe social distance with the staff member wearing the required PPE.
Keeping residents safe is our absolute priority. This means limiting the potential for cross-infection by supporting you or your loved one to live separately from other residents for the first two weeks of moving.
We’ll put together a comprehensive welcome programme designed entirely around you or your loved one. We’ll use this time to get to know each other and, most importantly, ensure there are plenty of opportunities to maintain regular contact with family and friends using the latest video call technology. After these first two weeks, we’ll introduce you or your loved one to the rest of the home, our friendly team and fellow residents. You can rest assured for these first two weeks that we’ll be here to support you or your loved one every step of the way.
Like any other infectious disease, Covid-19 can be prevented from spreading with the right training, equipment and infection control measures.
We are well equipped and have good stocks of high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE) which comply with government requirements.
Our in-house team are highly trained and experienced in ensuring a clean and sterile environment and committed to protecting everyone living and working in our home through the consistent use of infection control measures. These measures include regular hand washing, social distancing (and where not possible, PPE is worn by colleagues), putting on clean uniforms upon arrival and the proper use of appropriate PPE.
As members of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), we take cleaning and cleanliness extremely seriously. We use the highest-quality products and are currently following an enhanced programme of cleaning.
During this difficult time, we’re keeping life as normal as possible so residents feel safe, secure, and happy. Which means you or your loved one can expect great fresh food, a wealth of activities and friendly company.
We’re also ensuring that wherever it’s safe and appropriate to do so, our homes can facilitate visits from our residents’ family and friends – in addition to the many ways they keep in regular touch through technology.
