Customer reviews

A family member been living here for a year, and the support she obtains from Anchor is first class. Recently our family member had some health issues, and the professionalism in which the manager has responded matches the high quality property.

Paul Mainwaring - July 2018

I have just moved out Bridgewood Lodge following a change in my circumstances. I can say this is a friendly relaxed simple way to live there is a communal area where you can be as involved as you want or equally keep to yourself if that's what you want. there is a daytime warden who is very helpful very friendly and keeps a good atmosphere around the building. Rooms are basic and a bit dated but absolutely adequate for a single person I found I was comfortable there and all facilities available laundrette on site Wi-Fi in communal areas or Broadband can be fitted to your flat.TV aerial fitted. There are outside gardens and seating areas to the rear are a suntrap. Off street parking is available including specific disabled spots. If your circumstances are such you like independent living but with a community available and back up when you need it then I think you'll find this could fit the bill.

Peter Malcolm - July 2018

My mum has recently relocated 65 miles to live closer to us and has found the perfect home in Bridgewood Lodge. This is sheltered housing with a real sense of community including weekly activities for those who want them. The Anchorcall system gives us all peace of mind. The studio flats are warm and cosy with lovely separate fitted kitchens and bathrooms. The communal lounge is well used and Janet, the scheme Manager, is approachable, helpful and clearly in the right job. It's like walking into a rather nice hotel! Mum has settled in very quickly and we would not hesitate to recommend Bridgewood Lodge to anyone thinking of sheltered accommodation.
