At Leofric Lodge extra care scheme in Coventry, we offer 46 one bedroom purpose-built properties for rent for people over the age of 55 with low to high care needs. Leofric Lodge has its own dedicated care and support team registered with the Care Quality Commission and based on-site called Anchor Homecare. There are excellent transport links to the city centre, Ricoh Arena and Gallagher Retail Park. The local shops within walking distance include convenience stores and a fish and chip shop. There are doctors' surgeries in Stoke Heath, accessible via a five minute taxi or car ride.
We understand that sometimes you like to be alone and at other times you may want to be more sociable. At Leofric Lodge we run social activities including coffee mornings, bingo and day trips.
As an Approved Operator, we have signed up to the ARCO Consumer Code, and aim to ensure compliance with the ARCO Consumer Code in the operation of our extra care housing schemes and villages (see www.arcouk.org).
You will not need to worry about maintenance and repairs or gardening upkeep as we take care of those. We provide a wide range of facilities, including a communal lounge, guest room, a garden with seating area, on-site laundry and 12 parking spaces including 2 disabled bays.

At Leofric Lodge we have a range of facilities available to all tenants, including communal lounge, café, and communal bathrooms with assisted and independent bathing.
Nearby facilities include an off-licence and chip shop.
At Leofric Lodge we offer 46 one bedroom properties to people over 55.
All our properties are self-contained, allowing the privacy and independence that you enjoy. You will have a bathroom with walk in shower, kitchen with fitted cupboards, storage space, lounge and bedroom areas. If you want to give your home a personal touch, you have the freedom to decorate and furnish it as you wish.
All our properties are digital and satellite TV compliant. You can also arrange to have your own private telephone or broadband connection installed. Please contact the scheme manager who can give you more details.
At Leofric Lodge we organise a range of activities throughout the week, which change on a regular basis. Examples include coffee mornings, bingo, nail painting, communion services, cheese and wine nights, film and football watching, games nights, quizzes, hairdressing and day trips.

Leofric Lodge has its own dedicated care and support team based on-site called Anchor Homecare.
Delivered by a highly professional and dedicated team, Anchor Homecare is designed to make daily living easier and more enjoyable for people with care and support needs wanting to maintain an independent lifestyle.
The types of Anchor Homecare services that we offer are: Domestic Home Help Services, Personal Care and Companionship Services. Examples of typical activities covered include:
• Companionship services such as arranging social appointments, making travel arrangements, help participating in hobbies and company at meal times.
• Home help services such as light housekeeping, supervising home maintenance and help with shopping.
• Personal care services including help with bathing, dressing and shaving, providing medication reminders and administration, monitoring diet and offering eating support.
Anchor Homecare services are available through a range of flexible care options, from on-going packages of care to one-off or short-term services. Charges for these services will vary depending on the level of support required.
The Anchor Homecare team is registered with the Care Quality Commission and our trained staff work with you to develop an individual care plan tailored to your personal circumstances and lifestyle preferences.

How much does it cost?
Properties for rent
Your monthly fee will range from £688.63 and normally includes your rent, service charge, heating, hot water and water rates.
What is included in rental fees?
Our service charge covers all the cost of amenities you share with your neighbours, including the scheme manager service, our 24-hour emergency call service (Anchor Hanover on Call), repairs and maintenance, window cleaning, gardening and the cleaning of communal areas.
Your local council will be able to advise you about getting help paying your rent and service charge through housing benefit. They will also be able to tell you if they will be paying grant to us to meet or contribute towards the support cost elements of our services to you.
