Working in partnership is a key to Anchor Hanover’s approach to both our housing and care services for older people.
Anchor Hanover have well established partnerships with a wide range of organisations across the country. We are continually involved in new initiatives that raise standards and shape best-practice in our ever-changing and growing sector.
We work with the following organisations on a number of projects:
The National Care Forum (NFC)
NCF is the membership organisation for not-for-profit organisations in the care and support sector. NCF supports its 130 members to improve social care provision and enhance the quality of life, choice, control and wellbeing of people who use care services.
National Housing Federation
The National Housing Federation is the trade body for the housing association sector. It represents the work of member housing associations and campaigns on a range of housing and social policy issues.
The Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO)
ARCO is the main body representing the retirement community sector in the UK. ARCO works to promote confidence in the sector, raise awareness of the Retirement Community model and increase expertise within the sector.
The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF)
The CTBF is the leading UK charity for people working behind the scenes in the film, cinema and commercial television industries. Our innovative partnership offers a discount in any Anchor Hanover care home to those who have worked in the film or commercial television industries as well as to parents of industry qualifying personnel. National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA)
NAPA is a voluntary organisation dedicated to increasing the profile and understanding of the activity needs for older people.
Age UK provide information and advice for the elderly about benefits, care, age discrimination and computer courses.
Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC)
EAC provide information, advice and guidance on any aspect of care, support or housing for older people.

Contact the Elderly is the only national charity solely dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people.
The Silver Line
The Silver Line is a free confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to older people, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Care Workers Charity (CWC)
Anchor Hanover is proud to support CWC, a charity supporting the basic welfare of current, former and retired care workers. Support is offered in the form of hardship grants, and online information and advice.
